Eligibility

All nonprofit organizations, including schools and government organizations, are eligible to utilize services offered by HandsOn West Central Ohio. Volunteer opportunities must be available in Darke, Logan, Miami and/or Shelby Counties.

How to Register for Services

Contact the Volunteer Coordinator for your county.  All organizations who wish to receive volunteer assistance through HandsOn West Central Ohio must complete a Memorandum of Understanding.  Volunteer opportunities must be available in Darke, Logan, Miami and/or Shelby Counties.  Training is available to all nonprofit organizations, regardless of location.  Consultations will be limited primarily to organizations serving Darke, Logan, Miami and/or Shelby Counties.

Managing Your Agency's Volunteer Opportunities

Agencies must register with HandsOn West Central Ohio by completing the process outlined above before they may post opportunities online.  If you represent a nonprofit organization already registered with HandsOn West Central Ohio and do not have an account with 1800volunteer.org, please contact your county's volunteer coordinator to have an account created and to register for free training about how to use this resource.  If you already have a user account, click the icon below to manage the service opportunities available within your organization.

HandsOn West Central Ohio is affiliated with the Ohio Volunteer Center Association, Senior Corps (a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service), Darke County Volunteer Network, Miami-Shelby Volunteer Administrators Network and Miami Valley Association of Volunteer Administrators.  HandsOn West Central Ohio is an affiliate of HandsOn Network, generated by the Points of Light Institute.
